School 16 in Paterson held a ribbon cutting ceremony and tour for the public for the new school. The old School 16 was built in 1891 and torn down in 2014 to make way for the new building. This school houses grades 1-8 and will be applying to have the building “LEED GOLD Certified” for it’s highlyl sustainable “green” systems including solar power and sensor lighting in all classrooms.
